Engagement

From Boy Scouts to community groups to tribal colleges, the Lowell Institute is actively engaged in working with civil society to understand the importance and challenges of mineral resources development.  We speak to community groups such as Lions, Rotary International, Elder Hostels, Lifelong Learning Institutes, garden clubs, etc.  We have developed mining modules for use in community colleges on reservations, and we assist the Boy Scouts in their Mining and Society merit badge.  We work closely with many STEM education events, science fairs, etc.
